Opening Prayer: O God to those who have hunger give bread,and to those of us who have bread, give the hunger for justice.

Reflection: God of the struggling people hallowed be your name.

Let the promise of abundant life be realised and our longing for justice and peace be fulfilled.

Forgive our comfortable life if we have become unresponsive to the cries of the people. Forgive our daily prayers if we close our eyes & hearts to the needs of the many. Forgive our act of charity if it has thwarted us to work for justice.

Forgive our silence & solitude if we departed from serving the oppressed wholeheartedly. Amen. (Norma P. Dollaga, Philippines)
